Warranty Card
A buying, selling or valuation term used in the watch market: Warranty Card.

Definition
A buying, selling or valuation term used in the watch market: Warranty Card. A warranty card is manufacturer or authorised-retailer documentation recording warranty eligibility and often reference, serial and sale information. Modern cards may be electronic or digitally activated; presence alone is not a guarantee of authenticity.
Why it matters
Warranty Card can materially affect provenance, warranty interpretation and resale desirability, but documentation and accessories must still be checked for authenticity and matched to the watch.
